I’m sitting on a small ranch waiting to go somewhere thru the house that’s there but the guy who lives there is some sort of musical celebrity and he’s getting ready to go on tour. A large black and white limo pulls out of the garage and takes off. Then, a large military vehicle painted bright red and gold pulls with a pickup truck attached to it and swings the truck around sideways with no effort. This is the guy. He’s brazen. He peals out of the driveway with yee-haw. Later, I’m in a casino near the bar. A person comes up, head down, cashes in a few chips and leaves. Another person comes up, cashes in. Then, the music star comes up with this paper sack full of winnings and plops it down. He’s very confident and he leans against the bar with his long golden hair and says something like, “You know why I win? ‘Cos I got a winner’s attitude.” Later, I’m by the bar and he walks up again with another bag of cash and asks to reach into it and see how much I can grab with my hands. So I stick my hands in, but I arrange the cash so that it’s stacked up on top of itself and I pull out most of what’s in the bag. There’s even cash in my mouth. He looks at me quizzically, kind of honouring my creativity but then starts to pull the loose bills off the side ‘cos they’re not actually in my hands. He whittles it down to a reasonably sized wad and surveys it. Then he takes the money from my hands. I pulled the cash out of my mouth and reach over to the bar to wipe my saliva off it. He pulls out a checkbook and says, “Okay, I’ll give you 200.”
