Funny that I didn’t make the connection to hairspray until I wrote the title of this. There was a young man who turned into a large hairy beast. He lived in a town and there were three boys whom were much younger that I was trying to avoid. He didn’t want them to know that he turned into this beast. He had somehow gotten ahold of a fishing net that was aqua/turquoise coloured. The boys wanted it and were chasing him thru the town. He went to his parent shop and transformed before the boys got there and he played it off that he wasn’t the beast, but one of the boys discovered the net and took it.
Next, I was sitting next a young man (maybe the same) who was going on a long sailing journey, far out into the sea, to see a witch, or merwoman or something. I was teasing him that he would be going to where there was no time, and who knows what would happen to him without time. He took off and hitched a ride with some sort of water craft to bring back this kind of skim board. He launched off of the water craft as he came to a stop at the shore of the small island I was sitting on. I became aware that I was possibly blue, and wasn’t human, and maybe even had magical powers.
