I’m speaking with Elvis. He’s really young and he’s telling me about the start of his career. He’s telling me that is was really difficult to play with black musicians because he would go to places that were segregated and they’d give him a really hard time about bringing in these musicians. I saw him perform with them. No drum set. The black musicians were playing drums that hung from the neck or around the waste, and other percussive instruments. It was awesome. I’d never seen or heard anything like it. It was rock, and Elvis would do his Elvis gyration thing and flip his hair back. He was so dynamic. The music was tight. He’d play guitar and was really entertaining.

Wondering why I was having this dream. Exhilarating.

I’m associating a current haunted house with the one that I used to have nightmares about years ago. I’m seeing the outside of a two story Kelly green house with a beautiful white, hand made lattice that’s very art deco style running up from the ground to the apex of the roof. There’s a portal bubble window that looks to be at the top of the first floor and there are two huge windows on either side of the lattice at the second floor. The same lattice is on the inside of those windows running along the pitch of the roof/ceiling and I realize that the whole thing is designed to be a woman’s face. It’s beautiful. The upper left section of the house is where the nightmare content used to be, but now it’s SO far from my mind. I’ve given up the house and it’s been taken over by a women whom I’m speaking to. I’m now seeing the house from about a couple blocks away and not straight on. I believe the woman is telling me that she’s having some issues with the house since she took it over. I’m not sure what I can do for her. As I’m talking to her, there are other houses blocking my view of this green house and I realize that I can’t see it anymore.

Feeling distant and strange. Odd dream. House is beautiful. So well hand-crafted.

I’m in an old arcade with two young people, a boy and a girl. We’re discussing something about their era compared to mine. I walk over to a game that has a steering wheel and a gas pedal, but instead of it driving a car, it’s driving a brown labradoodle. The game is really wide and I can barely see the places that I’m supposed to steer the dog into because some of the lights are burned out. Christina is at the right edge of the game talking about something while trying to direct me where to send the dog. I get more points depending on where it’s sent, like a rabbit hole, or a dog house, or other things.

Kind of funny. Fun. Silly.
