Wild Horses at Sundance

I’ve been asked to come to a Sundance to sing. I’m on the ceremonial grounds and there are a lot of people there. There’s a guy that’s working with some young ladies for high-pitched singing. The grounds have a lot of trees and it’s up on a hill and there are things built into the trees. Dance chief is somebody that I know from somewhere else and they believe he’s there with his brother and his brother’s son who live somewhere else as well. They have very unusual headdresses on. Their faces are black and they have big green circles around their eyes with maybe a white line around the green circle. And they’re wearing some sort of bonnet or that makes circle around their head around the face that has these and what look like for or something around the edge. I’m kneeling and facing the dance Arbor with some other people that are doing the same thing. Since we’re up on the hill I looked down into this valley below and I see shapes of horses and at first it’s just one and then I see two and it’s far away and kind of blurry and I ask the person next to me if he can see them. And then I noticed there are more horses and then they all come to life and they’re running around in their Wild. A few of them come up closer to chorale kind of area and they’re jumping around and kicking. And then they’re running to the right and there’s a man on his own horse chasing them . And then he gets into a scuffle with one and falls off his horse and his horse hits the ground . But he gets up back on his horse and continues chasing the horses. At this point a couple of natives with the same adornment lock up and their locals. Nephew of the dance chief makes these aggressive moves toward them . It seems like he’s trying to show his bravery. But the kind of ignore him. And then the his dad points to me as if to indicate knowing who I am and they look at me and I sit up. But they kind of ignore me and they ignore the nephew and keep walking as if they have something to do. It’s at this point that I realized that I have no idea who the drum Chief is. And for a moment I wonder if I’m being set up to be the drum chief but haven’t been told yet. That concerns me so I start running through a couple of songs in my head just in case.
